What is Fast Track? |
It is a way to handle some quarantine procedures before you enter Japan from overseas, using MySOS Web online or the MySOS app on a smartphone. |

Is there a cost to use Fast Track? |
Fast Track is a way to handle some airport quarantine procedures electronically in advance. There is no cost to use Fast Track itself, but any costs related to having a computer, smartphone or device and using mobile data must be covered by the user. |

Who can use Fast Track? |
Anyone can use it regardless of nationality, country, or region, but a computer, smartphone or device that can access the Internet is required. |

Can I still use Fast Track if children travel with me? |

How do I register if I have had one or two doses of a vaccine, but not three doses? |
If you have not received your third dose of valid vaccine(s), please select the “Will not register” option when asked about registering a vaccine certificate. |

What should I do to register an accompanying child who did not meet vaccination requirements and/or did not receive a third dose? |
If your child has not received a third dose of valid vaccine(s), please select the “Will not register” option when asked about registering a vaccine certificate. It is not necessary to upload the parent/guardian's certificate. |

What is the cut-off date for me to use Fast Track? |
New measures for enhanced border measures may be revised from time to time, so please be sure to check the latest information and register within two weeks of your planned date of entry to Japan. |

Can I still use Fast Track if I don't have Internet access? |
You will need to connect to the Internet via MySOS Web or the app for registration prior to entering Japan, and again during quarantine procedures at the airport. |

Can I do the Fast Track procedures while I’m on the plane? |
You will not be able to use Fast Track if your pre-registration via MySOS Web or the MySOS app is not completed at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date and time of your flight. |

After arriving at the airport in Japan, can I register using the app and use Fast Track? |
You will not be able to use Fast Track if pre-registration of your test results is not completed via MySOS Web or the MySOS app at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date and time of your flight. |

Can I still use Fast Track if I don't have a vaccination certificate? |
Yes, you can still use Fast Track even if you don't have a test certificate for a test taken less than 72 hours before departure. When you are registering using MySOS Web or the app, for the item “Do you wish to do prior registration of a test certificate?” please select “Will not register.” If you select “Will not register,” you will be required to show the paper (or other) version of the test certificate when you board the aircraft, enter Japan, etc. |

Can I still use Fast Track if I don't have a test certificate (for a test less than 72 hours before departure) when I pre-register using MySOS Web or the MySOS app? |
Yes, you can still use Fast Track if you don't have a test certificate for a test taken less than 72 hours before departure. When you are registering using MySOS Web or the MySOS app, for the item “Do you wish to do prior registration of a test certificate?” please register with your selection of “No." If you select "No," you will be required to show the paper (or other) version of the test certificate when you board the aircraft, enter Japan, etc. |

What address should I register if I will be quarantining at facilities secured by the quarantine office? |
Please register the address where you will stay after you leave the facilities that were secured by the Quarantine Office. |

You can upload files in these formats: PNG, JPG (JPEG), GIF, and PDF. File size is limited to 5 MB per file. Up to 5 files can be uploaded. |

Please upload the image created using the "Save image of 2D code" function, or else a screenshot that clearly indicates the required information. |

Please enter the local time as shown on the test certificate, for a test taken less than 72 hours before your flight departure. |

On the vaccination certificate, please use a pen or pencil to clearly write your name as indicated in your passport. Please upload an image of the certificate that clearly shows the full name you have written. |

Information registered on MySOS Web can be shared with the MySOS app. |

You can create a MySOS Web account from the MySOS app settings screen, which will allow you to continue with registration procedures on MySOS Web. |

If you have created an account on both MySOSWeb and the MySOS app and you were unable to link data registered on each by following instructions in 3-1 and 3-2, please uninstall and then reinstall the MySOS app. Please click here for detailed instructions. |

Only if you are required to quarantine, please keep the app installed and continue using it to report your health condition during your designated quarantine period. |

If I have registered incorrect information during pre-registration, can I correct it? |

I want to register for Fast Track but I don't see the “Pre-registration for quarantine procedures” button. |
When you installed the app, if you selected “Yes” when you saw the message “Some quarantine procedures can be done by smartphone app before you enter Japan. Do you want to use this function?” the “Pre-registration for quarantine procedures” button should appear. If it does not appear, please uninstall the MySOS app and then re-install it. |

Can I use the same MySOS app that I installed for a previous occasion when I entered Japan? |
If you already have MySOS installed, please scan the dedicated QR code again or tap on the dedicated link. You can also follow instructions in FAQ 4-5 to reset your MySOS to the required mode. |
